Carbon Steel (what that radio tower is made out of) does not contain the properties necessary to be that ductile and would break before it ever reached half that flex.

Rarely am I ever serious. (there are obviously exceptions though, this thread not being one of them.)
Seriously, though and more on topic. I've held a camera in my hand for many years and while it has opened up a door or two that may not have been available to others, overwhelmingly it has not. The "I'd really like access to take some photographs" approach simply doesn't work as the site manager or security guard or property owner is more concerned with their liability than your ability to "get the shot" (hence a whole site dedicated to a primarily illegal hobby)
Unless the principals of the site are photography buffs themselves this approach almost never works.
I'm also preaching to the choir at this point so....
I suspect that even when the security chief is feeling better he will not grant access. As most of us are aware this is more so the rule than exception.
But if he does.... Well then, good for suchundfind!
Please microwave my plate of crow for 30 seconds before serving.
