| | | hmmm guess i would run, hide- then kill, at night... very very quietly... but not from a roof top. no escape up there. same with water towers, clock towers and other high places. too hard to defend when its just you up there with rifles and auto pistols...
When I say I'm 'clean and sober', it means I've showered and I'm headed to the liquor store. |

So there is a relationship, now. and where's the damn rooftop hooker(s)? I feel cheated.
|
No there still is no relationship. I don't want to be in the same building as the person that decided that I can get on this roof. I would call it an anti-relatinship

Wow. Sounds like true love. Congratulations. Which reminds me. Always check which way the wind is blowing before mounting on any rooftop.
Your security measures were inadequate. How unfortunate for you. |

"Anti-relationship". "True love". This sounds like a bad romance.

This thread needs more hookers, less rooftops, and maybe a chainsaw or two.

I know roof tops are not high enough if you as me. I almost forgot these pictures, so now you are the first one that will see them. Now here is a picture of the ground crew, yes most of the time they didn't do s much, but that's fine, they did what they were supposed to do. Also it isn't good to stand next to the tower, I dropped a couple of things.
Now here is a picture from somewhere up there, I am sure it was the 2nd day when this picture was taken.
Isn't this view worth going up this high?
There was as said a reason for them to wear hard hats
And one more picture

Amateurs? Who would have thought? From looking at the ground crew, I would have thought these guys were professionals.

They are professionals!!! These guys build a couple of towers already, so they might not do it for living, but they know what they are doing. And you have all kind of professions there, this makes it interesting.

No this wasn't job, I did this for fun. But the real fun starts when it moved 6 to 8 feet in any direction from the wind.

Such, just a heads up regarding metallurgy, Carbon Steel (what that radio tower is made out of) does not contain the properties necessary to be that ductile and would break before it ever reached half that flex. This is not an opinion, it's a proven Scientific fact. but again, why am I even bothering... *shakes head harder*

Why dont you come to Lubbock and you can get on a similar tower on a windy day to find out these thinks are made of segments.

| | | You can't mean the 120" segments these tower constructed out of. You know the ones bolted together with the same carbon steel bolts the tower itself is made from. You don't mean those segments do you? The segments that still wouldn't flex 60-80% of their length. Those segments???? Silly that it slipped my mind that these towers were indigenous to Lubbock.
You just don't get it do you? Even after person after person here has both politely and impolitely spelled it out for you. You just don't get it!
