On another note...
I have to thank Raticus for being arguably one of the best mods on UER.
This thread is the most fun I've had on this site in a long time.
I think it important to note that most of this thread is in jest.

We only do commercial customers, so OWS's "Satellite TV for the Homeless" program doesn't impact us.
As of today, we are yet to instal on any abandoned buildings.
My point is that I suspect OP has some sort of legitimate reason to need roof access. I contend he has set this all up knowing he can get the photos he has promised. But they won't prove what he has implied they will prove.

Now, what he doesn't ever say is why security would alow him on a roof. It is going to turn out that he has some legitimate purpose, not a creditability prop, not social engineering skills.
I can do the same thing, our company does satellite work and installs dishes on roofs. I didn't think that counted as urban exploration and I didn't plan to pass it off as such.

They let me on it to take pictures.
I mean they have some radio antennas up there, but the tower isn't s high that they need a tower climber.
The only purpose I have is to get up there and take a picture. Or a couple of them.
I actually wanted to get up there to take pictures of the Christmas lights, but you guys convinced me if I am already up there, I can take some pictures of the skyline as well.
I have no other reason to get on this roof, and it's actually not easy to get permission.
You need to get it from a couple of different people, so this isn't quite easy.

No I didn't BS you, I asked for permission, it went up the ladder, it came down the ladder.
I asked the person I was supposed to ask, and found out that some more people have to decide first.
And no, there is no relationship of any kind involved.
I mean I asked someone that works there and he told me he has to ask someone else.
So Maintenance wasn't quite right who do ask.
