Yeah, I would buy only a 3-axis meter that actually has the chance to cut out 50/60Hz, or you will read the overhead power lines.

Or like the guys on TV, they measure there EM fields of there own stuff that they carry or that is laying around.

Thought so. I'm putting a turbine up there later this year/early next year. Next time I'm up there, I'll shoot you a note and show you around a bit if you're game. I haven't been in the old buildings, but the stuff in the ones being used is pretty cool. Tornado generator, 2 x 4 launcher, and of course the storm chase trucks.
