Questions for those of us experiencing our first Clocktoberfest:

Do we access the camping area from Highway 20 or Blackjack Road?
Is there a planned arrival time for Friday?
etc.

Excellent Questions!

All participants should message me for specific directions, if you don't know how to get there. The farm where we park is on Blackjack Road, but the camping field itself is up on top of the hill, overlooking the surrounding area. And yes, we are directly overlooking that Irish hotel on Hwy 20.

Friday doesn't really have a specific arrival time. Some of us are starting the party on Thursday night, so we'll be there already when Friday rolls around. We're going to leave for the rafting trip around 10 or 11 PM (vaguely) but it could be slightly before or after that. It all depends on who is planning on going, who has the right equipment, and when people arrive. If we could head out by 10:00 PM that would be even better, but I know how we all are on punctuality.

Don't leave without the red child molester van! Me, Java, and Cross (if he fits in the raft), and Stormy and whoever fits in his raft are bringing rafts and hoping to get there by 11 at the latest, given minimal delays. It'd be a damn shame to have bought the raft and not be able to use it!

We're all just trapped between the stippled earth and the stubbled sky.

Boots and Little C have a raft as well.

Assuming you guys make it down south on time (admittedly a bit unlikely) and we only get assraped by the Kennedy for 1 hour, we should be there at 10.

You know, maybe we should all try and meet you up there instead? I'm thinking that trying to get the van down to 33rd and back is going to take longer than we expect.

Having missed the last two fests, I'd very much like to make this one.

I'm not able to drive, but am willing to share my 6 person cape cod pop up camper with built in stove with anyone who is willing to stop off in Eau Claire and take me along for the event.

The camper sleeps 6, but I'm pretty confident more would fit in if needed.

It's heated, and takes a standard ball hitch.

I also have three rafts I can contribute if anyone would need one.

Hit me up in PM, maybe we can work out a carpool or something.

Thanks!

I'll making the event for sure now. I don't have a raft, but am bringing a life vest if someone has room for me on their raft.

See you all soon!

Mine came with a seriously heavy duty pump that you're welcome to use.

But the Kennedy really shouldn't have any more lanes!

I want to be different. But I want to be different just like everybody else, because if I really were different, everybody would think I was crazy and weird.

I knew you would see things my way someday, Jim-- I just didn't expect it to be so soon!
