Any Berlin Explorers?

Hey I will be in Berlin in the next day or so and wondering if there is any people out there keen for exploring or showing me some crazy shit over the next couple of weeks. Should be in Berlin for at least 10 days. Planning on checking out Teufelsberg and Beelitz Heilstatten... by myself at this stage. Any info or tips on Berlin much appreciated.

Cheers
pip

Depending on what you like, there's loads to do in Berlin. There's some nice rooftops near the centre, the metro is pretty easy to explore, ride an overground train around the city and you'll see stuff.

NSA Teufelsberg is easy to access. Loads of students hang out there at dusk. It's a bit of a walk from the nearest metro though. Beelitz is equally easy, just need to get a bus/train/rentacar to Beelitz, and it's in the woods on the outskirts.

Not sure if your still there, but if so check out the Tacheles. Its an abandoned building bombed during WW2 that sat abandoned in East Germany till the wall fell and artists started squatting there. Its currently completely covered in graffiti and full of underground art. Really cool stuff

We're sorta like 7-Eleven. We're not always doing business, but we're always open.

How was Spreepark? I would suspect that since Hanna came out, it must be 1)full of people trying to go and/or 2)full of security because of 1) ?

I played hide and seek with 2 security cars there on Xmas day in 2008 or 2009 I think. Took me 2 hours before I could hop the fence again without being caught. I had a long chat with the swan carts (...)

Spreepark can be visited legally. It's just necessary to book the tour!
The tour takes about 2 hours and costs 15 €/Person including film- and photo permission.

Yes, you're right.
But sometimes it's better to pay these 15 euros instead of having no photos of this location. Especially, if you don't come from Germany.

ahhhh Berlin is great! walked 5 minutes from the house we are staying at (in Lichtenberg) and already found an amazing abandoned metal workshop with caved in roofs with plants growing halfway inside and a burned toilet, plus an 11(?)-story Deutsche-Bahn building and some other abandoned DB stuff... i love this town!
