Hey I've checked out this site for a while, I love exploring old stuff and abandoned places. Here's a few pics I took on a recent outing to explore some abandoned buildings along an abandoned railroad grade. The building sits on top of a concrete water tank that is about 60' deep and 20' across. there are numerous small gauge railroad cars buried in the dirt in the area. There are also active water penstocks that feed nearby hydro plants in the area. Probably not up to the normal pizaz you guys rock......

These penstocks are about 8' across to show size

Not sure what this is, but it's about 12' across, 20' long, and the inside is about 6' deep...

On a side note, not man made, but here are pics to a swimming hole I found after reading a 30 year old newspaper article. Took me about 6 months of hiking way too many miles of unmolested rivers.
The main swimming are in the first pic is about 30' across and about 25' deep. It's so clear, you could see a quarter on the bottom of the river.

In this second pic, the "hole" you see is about 8' across and the water level is about 6' down. The secret to this "hole" is if you jump in, you can swim about 3' underwater and there is a natural cave which goes about 4' and comes up in the main river. Good stuff... Enjoy!!!!

Welcome and cool pics...Are you a cop?
