|  | | | You know Ive been doin this "UE" thing longer than alot of the people on this site. Then I find a site dedicated to doing something I love to do and think hey may be I can get some good info and swap some as well. So far all ive gotten is a site that you cant do shit for 3 days then 7 to talk to anybody then treated like shit and insulted when I can, now I am a really easy going kinda guy who can take a good insult and dish em as well but I can honestly say fuck this site and all of the people on it, you act like a bunch of adolescents in some kind of secret club that doesnt exist. If you are not an absolute piece of shit who actually would like to trade some info about EXPLORING, which this site when it started I assume is what it was for, send me a message and I will be happy to treat you like a human being with a mutual interest.

when you're new, nobody knows who you are and what your accomplishments are -- and it's really the minority of new members that end up sticking around and becoming strong contributors. so, being new, you're most likely to be perceived as just another person passing through -- until you make some great exploring posts, tell some stories, share some pictures, and establish a reputation.
being new, the best way you can have a positive experience is to find your regional forum and start posting about exploring you've done in the area. put up some picture sets, tell some cool stories, and you'll be welcomed with open arms pretty quickly.
hope this helps. i advise you to adjust your tone, too. it's never a good idea to show up at a stranger's front door and introduce yourself by complaining and insulting them.

Not treated like your some piece of trash. May be I was brought up to treat others differently and with respect but I have put up my few pics (when I finally could) and some stories, I have many to share but would rather it be with people, not posted on some random place waiting to may be seen, if I cant just talk to people then whats the point? Trying to find people, that requires talking to them.

| | | | I think what you're talking about is prevalent throughout the internet. This is not someone's house, it's a online forum populated by people who can say whatever they want without any repercussions. Were you to go on any other forum, I'm sure you would find the same thing.
Additionally, a large portion of what we do and talk about is illegal, so there's going to be some mistrust of new people. Police, security guards, vandals, taggers, etc from various locales have patrolled this forum, and gotten information from it.

You know it sure feels like it, years ago I used to do all the modern stuff but got tired of all the crap that was being done only to come back and its worse. So no I havent been on a msg board in a few years. I know not everybody is just rude but it feels like it sometimes.
