Here you have one of my photos that have had more success in Flick-r. I'm pretty proud of it, but wanted to know your opinion and how I could improve it. I wanted to point out that I like the beam of light being above but do not know how to strengthen it.

You could just do a simple dodge and burn?

I blow cigarette smoke into the light. Usually works for me.

wish you had framed the picture in tighter to the chair, i feel like there's too much dead space that kills the image.

it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring.

i had fun

i do think it would look better overlayed so its darker and more engaging

just duplicate layer and then top layer go to layer blend mode>overlay

just \imo/

the picture its already awesome

this is an exceptional image! i can see why it's popular on flickr.

i do feel like there may be a little too much empty space to the left and upper-left... in comparison to the right side of the image, which is much more visually rich.

I agree with everybody. Overlay or burning is the way to go. You can't push the light further because it looks like there is not much left to go. Bringing down the brightness of everything else will give the perception of strengthening the light.

I don't think you can really push it any furthur, and the image is awesome on it's own.

What is your Flickr name btw, I'd love to check out some more of your stuff!
