| | | Here you have one of my photos that have had more success in Flick-r. I'm pretty proud of it, but wanted to know your opinion and how I could improve it. I wanted to point out that I like the beam of light being above but do not know how to strengthen it.

i do think it would look better overlayed so its darker and more engaging just duplicate layer and then top layer go to layer blend mode>overlay just \imo/ the picture its already awesome

| | | this is an exceptional image! i can see why it's popular on flickr. i do feel like there may be a little too much empty space to the left and upper-left... in comparison to the right side of the image, which is much more visually rich.

| | | I agree with everybody. Overlay or burning is the way to go. You can't push the light further because it looks like there is not much left to go. Bringing down the brightness of everything else will give the perception of strengthening the light.
