I shot this photo in the dark with a bounce flash, the ISO was at 3,200 (i was playing around with how high the ISO could go on my D200) i really like how it brought out all the texture in the photo, i feel it might be a little underexposed too though, what do you think?

I love the first one, and the second one is amazing. I can almost see the man who dropped that butt on the floor as he left his job for the very last time, wondering what was to become of him, and his family.

Awesome photos. I'm not an expert - looking for tips myself - so, thanks for the inspiration.

they all look great, but #2 puzzles me, is it cropped or something? the focus... its just not what i would expect. I love the color (read: lack of), its enviable, i wish all my photos looked like that

+ over 9000 respect ♥

I wish you hadn't cut off the edges of the glasses in 1 and that the cig took up more of the dead space in the shot in 2. I also wish 3 either had more of a tilt or was dead on centered but that's mostly personal preference. The color in these is fantastic and the subjects are interesting (more-so in 1 and 2 since you see so much of 3 around this site)

edit: I can't spell at 1:30 am. Derp!
