Breezeway in a Tenament.

Okay guys, I have a shot I took from inside a tenament house nearby my house. It was my second time inside the building, but my first time seeing this section in the middle of the house! I never even knew it was here, but apparently there is a large triangle shaped 'tube' that runs from the ground floor up to the roof, with tilting windows at all levels to let air circulate through the halls. Has anyone ever encountered something like this before?

Anyway, the pic. Let me know what you think.

Other than the blowout at the top, I love it!
Good work

I did Bracket some shots, but the blow out was near unavoidable. The sun was only about 30 minutes from being directly overhead and that plexy window is really abraided. I wanted to get an opinion on the situation first before I went back for the B&B's.

Thanks for the thoughts.

Yeah, bracket this one and it will look great. The angle is nice and disorienting.

I'm not blow out averse as others are. I see no need to bracket this one. Maybe crop a little off the right side.

I wanted to stand in the center of the triangle and shoot up, but there was a door in the basement that was swollen open and refused to close. I did take two other bracketed sets though, and will post them when I get a chance to work on them. 3 photo B&B's are challenging for me right now.

You are using Desmet's guide, right? That thing makes it so easy, it really doesn't require any thought.

Yeah, I am, but I am an extreme newcomer to using adjustment layers, and layering the exposures in the right order is trying my mind....
