Photo #12 is a shotgun shell casing. Is that good enough? (I didn't take it with me, although I thought hard about it. I would imagine it's still there unless anyone else has procured it in the last 3 months.)

yeah thats what made me think about stray brass layin about

Im pretty sure the jack booted thugs picked up everything they could find so as not to be used by any potential defense to reconstruct firing positions or other scenarios. I reckon much of everything else got bulldozed, picked over or trompled by tourists

Interesting location. I always wondered what happened to the site in the aftermath. I also liked that you asked first out of respect for the people still living there. Very few things are truly abandoned - many seemingly abandoned structures still have owners. Whenever possible I try to contact the owners about checking something out. Believe it or not most of them say yes after I explain what I am there to do!
