Hi there! I'm new to UER and I really don't have a place that I normally upload my photos to online, so I thought I would share them here. I'll post a bunch of different sets according to location. Keep in mind, I'm a graphic designer by trade, so I tend to focus more on close up photos and textures, because I can use them in my work. Hope you enjoy!

Awesome!

I would stay away from the pop up gallery though, you won't get very many viewers.

I looked at them, but I hesitated to do so.

I'm sorry! I didn't realize that wasn't the best choice. I'm posting some new locations threads, so I'll use normal images there instead. Thanks for the tip!

Nice work! Definitely stay away from the pop ups, gallery style is where it's at. Welcome to the forum.

That's cool that stuff is still there, I would have thought it would all be gone now.

Sadly, most of it actually is gone. Basically all that's left is the trailer I took the photos of, and everything in it seems to be from the 50s and 60s. There is a new church that has been built on the site, and a few buildings and homes for the Davidians that still live there.

Worth noting: if you do happen to visit, the people there are very nice about wandering around the site and taking photos, but I would not advise going past the fence at the back of the property where they have clearly marked as "No Trespassing." These are obviously not abandoned buildings- these are people's homes.

Nice! I was always told there was nothing left.

I think its strange they used the name he was born with instead of David Koresh.

I thought that was odd too. He is buried in a cemetery not far from where I live. But, they don't publish where the grave is, and I've been told the cemetery folks won't tell you where it is, I guess to keep vandals and pranksters away. It is marked though, I've seen photos of the marker. But I've been there 4 or 5 times looking for it and haven't found it yet.

I also didn't think there was anything left there.

Lol! Well, I'd love to pretend I've got balls of steel, but in reality, I just asked nicely if I could wander around. I totally ruined my street cred now, huh?

They're actually really nice people, except when you fire the first shot. ¬_¬

iirc, the feds were using lake city mil spec. steel core penetrator ammo. the brass may not be any good for reloading after 20 plus years....
but it would still be a cool convo piece.

Ha! I gave up reloading years ago. When I finally figured out my time was worth more than about 4 bucks an hour!

It would be a grizzly sort of BATF memento at best.
