| | | A Small Collection of my Photos (Critique more than welcome) < on 6/4/2011 5:52 AM >
| | | With the exception of the last 4, these haven't been altered in any way. I try not to do much if any photo editing. The last 4, 3 being HDRs, are experiments. I'm always looking to improve my art. If you see something that you think could use a little work, tips, or tricks; feel free to tell me. Just a few notes on the HDRs: First, I didn't process the original photos in RAW. For whatever reason, my computer doesn't like the Nikon RAW codec. Second, I hate the whole acid trip look on so many HDR images. So I used it more to subtly enhance the picture instead of go overboard and make something that looks like what Owsley Stanley would've seen. 1.

| | | reagarding spooky dark creepy try duplicating the layer and playing with blend modes.i like linear light it makes things dark and if u use the eraser and burn and dodge correctly u can get some sweet results this was a bland boring photo when i shot it but after 10 mins in layer modes i got a cool result

Once things get political, they want us to stop shooting and start dancing. I don't dance. |

| | | I see what you mean about playing around with a second layer. I like the result you came up with. Reminds me a bit of Lasse Hoile.

Nope, I've used at least 3 images on these. Max 5. 1 or 2 F-Stops low, 1 perfectly balanced, 1 or 2 F-Stops high. Here are the originals:
Total images: 5

| I went a little overboard with this one and did 7

As I said, I'm not capable of processing Nikon RAW files on my computer. So using JPEGs may be partially to blame. In the ones you liked, what did you think were the reasons they worked out well?

Indeed, good sir.
