| | | 1850's villa / hospital / heritage sight < on 5/12/2011 9:43 PM >
| | | This Victorian villa was built in 1857 as a two-storey summer house for the local Railway Director. Modifications were made to the house in 1867, including roof alterations and the addition of the west wing. The third floor was added in 1900, along with the Beau-arts Corinthian portico with balcony and Corinthian porch. It wasn't until 1952, when the 95 year old building became a private hospital. 50 years later, in 2002, the hospital closed its doors. On this day in 2011... http://jermalism.b...rook-hospital.html i've found a happy place with my shooting but would appreciate more constructive feedback. these were some of my favorite shots from this location. what could i do better?

| | | I like your composition but some of these could stand to be straightened. Unless that's barrel distortion - I can't tell.

| | | Your first shot suffers from the bottom of the doorway on the left being cut off.

| | | These are all nice. I agree with other comments made about the first shot, my eye was drawn first to what was missing rather than what was there. The confined space to work in seems to have been the issue with these, but overall, I like them.
