Mario's Death Run (Storm Drain; Tulsa, OK)

Checked this drain out the other night on accident.. Missed the intended drain by 1/4 of a mile dammit.

First shot was under exposed, so deal with it, it's better than HDR.

The Fog.

This drain was truly a marvel of engineering genius....

This part was weird, it split into 2 small as drains for about 20 ft and then back into a taller one again. Wonder what is above this?

Fairly impressive. Also, check it out my brother is wearing my shirt, the same one I'm wearing in my avatar. Neat.

That is all.

Wow, that's a really interesting looking drain. Are there lights down there, or were you just really good playing with some LEDs or something?

Just light painting. iphone for all the colored shit actually. It's pitch black down there. Rather boring drain really.

Takes me back....

According to the graffiti wisdom in pic #7, you're 4,000 feet in. Wonder what awesome person measured that tunnel 5 years ago....

I don't know, but they should have put their tag in there about 4000 ft earlier so I hadn't walked 2 miles upstream the wrong drain...

dammit..

All you gotta do is come down here without killing yourself or your car and avoid the cops.

With your luck you'd just end up taking 200+ people down with you....

How about I just come get you?? I've had a flawless driving record for 14 years.

I need a road trip anyway. Fiend could come with, but he drives as bad fast as you, so we'll take my car, Lol.

That's right Fiend, I went there. I'll give you credit though, you don't seem to crash much. Not sure if that's just divine intervention or luck though..

You and your damn sports cars, you crazy kids are gonna kill yourselves one day.

And I thought you lived in Arkansas.

Very thank you much sir. Remember, I can tell you where a whole shitload of sweet drains are down there.

Why don't you like HDR?

Yes seriously, please come! I need something to do.

We have potential epic drains (dunno haven't been in them), schools, steel mills, large hotels, nukular power plants, asylums, etc. You name we got it.

Hey now, I've never been in an accident ha! And I go to college at UA here in Tuscaloosa. Plus now we have tornado urbex because about 1/7th of Tuscaloosa got wiped off the map.

we [myself and surd] just got back from our first time through there... it reminded me a lot of kirbys death run until you get the round part... it was a pretty boring drain but we had a good time... the graffiti was probably [okay it was] the highlight...1.

There definitely was a lot of graffiti in this drain. A surprising amount was stenciled. But as Cajun said, it was kind of boring till you got about a mile back up in there. Here's a couple of my shots.

One of our little friends that was down there too.

Looking out of the curb drain.

Kept hearing this 'slosh' 'slosh' noise, so stopped for a minute to listen. Turned around and turned my light on.... HOLY FUCKING ASS CRACKERS!! WHAT THE HELL IS THA..... Oh its just Cajun. (sorry dude, couldn't help myself )

...the wings on my shoes shrank now the moths won't eat my kidneys, when i shake my state capital it only yields 3 fairy napkins, but how do i know my banana slippers are like water boats because when the moon winks it burns my hamster punches, and that's how you get to llama school rowing your canoe backwards up main street when the front bumper falls off, do mermaids get to drink orange juice?
