First explore

Yesterday I went to the Barber Paper Mill. As it was my first time exploring, I was a little sketched out at the beginning to be honest. This is a pretty popular spot for teenagers to hangout and so there was constantly loud noises. I ran into a few people, and a couple watching a movie on a laptop wrapped in a blanket. It was all-in-all a fun time. I've never posted any photos on UER, so here it goes. Constructive criticism is strongly appreciated!

Is it just me, or did the camera move on 4, making it a confusing blend of ghost pillars?

That's exactly what happened...by accident... But in the end it ended up looking kind of trippy.. so I stuck with it.

Heh, I'm not a fan. It just looks like the camera got bumped, which I've done countless times. I should find the picture where we had to grab a camera and run half way through an exposure.

I like the others, though. Are they actual panoramics (multiple images stitched together), or just cropped wide?

I can't say I've ever ran halfway through an exposure. I'd like to see it if you can find it!

Thanks! The first two photos are actual panoramas. The first one was made of 9 photos, and the second one was made of 4 photos.

Yeah, good times. It was only a couple days ago, but he was going to delete the pictures "just in case". I think he wound up keeping them, though, I sent him a message asking for it.

Cool. I kinda figured by the angle, but I wanted to make sure.

I really like what happened on 4 and 2 is interesting too. 3 might benefit from a little bit of contrast. Nice first set though!

Thank you! Much appreciated! I'll try and play around with the 3rd one and fix some of the contrast.

Love the warped perspective on the first 2. I also like the one where your camera moved, but I would boost the contrast and make sure you are using the whole tonal range from black, blacks to white whites.

Great set,

Looks like you did great.
I love the panos!
You captured this place really well.

The sign said "Anybody caught trespassin will be shot on sight"
So I jumped on the fence and I yelled at the house,

I actually agree with you on the 4th photo. Even if it was an accident, I dig the effect.
