Intro: Hotel la pigeon + more < on 4/22/2011 2:31 AM >
first off i would like to say hi everybody, my name is justin; im 23, a welder, and i live in houston tx. this is obviously my first post so i would like to post up photos of my first ue. this kind of stuff has always intrigued me. i would always explore in the woods and such as a kid. this is basically the first house, or anything really that i have gone into and explored. anyways on to my post.
i live right around the corner so i figured it would be perfect for my first ue.
the apt building in the back has since been torn down. all that remains is the front building that is fully boarded up except for a window where the board has been ripped in half.
all photos taken with iphone as well. so plz excuse.
front view. notice the pigeons hanging out up top. basically a multi family duplex built in 1950
around back
once we made it in, the bottom floor where entering was complete darkness ceiling falling down and wall was sorta like peeled back.
once out of the first room we made it to the main access stair case notice the steps? completely covered in pigeon shit
old mailboxes still mounted the wall
once me made it up top after having multiple pigeons freak out and fly straight at us we finally had light damage to walls
more evidence of what has taken over the apt building
these guys were flying around in the room nailing the windows at full force when they saw us, we left them alone.
looks to be a dead, well you can probably guess by now.
making our way into another room
kitchen, bathrooms, etc.
view of the street
and last but not least, ill end on what was hanging out in the upstairs window seal.
unfortunately thats it, nothing to majorly awesome but hey what the heck.
now onto part two, this kind of has something to do with this website. i compete in drifting and we have a small close group of friends that stick together, you can check us out at www.teamsilhouette.com
we are always looking for new amazing spots to film our street drifting. we found this abandoned neighborhood which is pretty creepy. just dead ends into the woods, no street signs except for 1 stop sign i think. just roads of nothing, if you google map it in street view at certain angles it will show a few houses then they disappear, odd. but there is def nothing there now, ive tried to find info on it but cant seem to dig anything up. but enjoy this video and the scenery
im not sure how this forum embeds video, html is not enabled. so ill just post the link, if someone can help me out thanks

Wow, cell phone pictures that are actually pleasing to the eyes, rare!
Good shtuff, sir. I've no sense, I lick electric fence; I put barbed wire in my pants and do a Celtic dance. - My Canon 300D is beat to hell, a bit finicky, and a 'lil loose, much like everything else I own... http://www.youtube...atch?v=IvN10-n1NBc

Yeah, I know. I was "lol" literally when I saw the name change. I wanted to ask, but just couldn't. Wise men speak because they have something to say; Fools speak because they have to say something.

Welcome. I experimented with drifting in the far distant past, until I realized it tore the crap out of everything, lol. It was fun as hell till things broke.
