Trying something different

It's been a while since I've posted in the critique forum. I definitely feel I've grown as a photographer and I'd like to see what you guys think about some of my latest.

First four are shot at f/1.8 with my Nikon 35mm. I was experimenting with depth of field at wide apertures.

Hope you enjoy.

#3 is cool, sharp and good composition.
the rest are not bad shots, but not all that exciting.

They say "you can't judge a book by its cover!" I say "YES you can, if the cover has a girl on it with a cock in her mouth, its PORN!" if she's 18 and the cock is black, its GREAT porn!

I'm agreeing with logtec on this one. #3 is your best with the small frame of subject area and the contrasting textures. The rest just dont grab my attention. They arent bad shots, just don't stand out.

Blah Blah Blah. Shut up and open the damn door.
"It's ok Officer, I watch a lot of cop shows on tv, so i am practically one of you guys." - sadly, that didn't work.

I agree with the rest, #3. I find #4 meses with my eyes because what you are focused on is so slim compared to rest of the image.
