| | Keeping profile images under 15k limit < on 3/30/2011 2:20 PM >
| | | Whenever I try and upload a new profile picture, the uploader tells me that that the file size must be under 15k. I can't squeeze any half-decent picture into 15k, and was wondering how everyone here does it?

| | | my wife figured out that if she saved hers as a gif that made it smaller. you lose some of the quality, but it cuts the size almost in half. [last edit 3/30/2011 2:23 PM by MonkeyPunchBaby - edited 1 times]

| | | In Photoshop make sure your file is 8 bits/channel, 72 dpi and use File > Save for Web & Devices. When you move the 'quality' slider look at the bottom left corner and you will see what the saved file size will be - adjust accordingly. Hope that helps. | | | Use Photobucket. Just hit re-size. You can shrink any image down as small as you can see it,and every where in between. Easy to use and free storage.

| | | From a post pinned in this forum: 3) My images are too large, how can I resize them? shrinkpictures.com picresize.com resize2mail.com resizr.com resize.it webresizer.com
Phot oshop Click on Image -> Imagesize -> Enter in width and height Paint Shop Pro Click on Image -> Resize -> Enter in width and height Paint Click on Image -> Attributes -> Enter in width and height (does not resize image, only window)
Also, what everyone else said.
Get down, girl, go 'head, get down. |
