|  | | | Everyone that has been in Denton for more than a few minutes has heard the tale of Goatman and Goatman's bridge. We took it a step further and actually tracked down Goatman's house! It was intense, I'm not a big believer in paranormal stuff but the second we cut through the forest enough to see the house both PrivateJoker and I were hit with this incredible cold, sinking, BAD feeling like something truly sinister had happened here, and the location, the architecture, and the remains of the house all fall perfectly in line with the clues we could find about tracking down Goatman's house.
So, for those who haven't heard it, the legend of Goatman and Goatman's bridge can be read in detail Here.
Onto the goods:
1. The entrance to Goatman's bridge
2. The bridge and some goddamn rednecks that wouldn't friggin move so I could get a full shot
3. Sweet, a bridge. Fascinating. Let's move on to the house.
4. Oh goddamn it Captain_Slow found another bum camp.
5. Goatman's house, set deep in the woods.
6. The entire thing except for a few rooms in the middle had collapsed in.
7. There was lots of remains of turn of the century furniture
8. Sorry UER, no commode 
9. Destroyed inside
10. What's left of the other wing of the house
11. Floor is NOT safe for anyone

| | | | funny how these urban legends get clone stamped from one generation to the next
in the 1970s Irving had a goatman and he lived near a goatman bridge as well
the bridge got tore down but I reckon the "horned one" still roams the bottoms off Irving Blvd and the Trinity River
somebody should get some pics of this guy! can you imagine how much that would be worth to the Inquirer...
