| | | By the side of the road in an area south of El Paso is a small aircraft graveyard. Nolan Carter Aircraft parts sits a few miles in town from the airport. Outside the fuselages of several aircraft are littered around the premises. Three ex-Navy Beech 18's are visible from the road, one of them with a tree growing through the wing route. Additionally, there are about 6 or 7 other Beech's and Piper's fuselages, and a beautiful, almost complete 1947 Beech 35R V-Tail wearing polished metal. Also outside is the tail, including the rear seats, of a Mahle that crashed in Arizona in which the 4 passengers died. I found it a little strange to be staring at a seat that was last occupied by dead bodies. Taking a look inside one can see even more aircraft, with another later model V-Tail Bonanza hanging from the ceiling. The place still looks in use, as there is a fresh trailer sitting next to the building.

| | | Pretty cool place, huh? Never heard of it.
