| | | This is a trip! I am new here and was looking at this the other day and i totally remember that neighborhood! I used to go to San Jac for a bit in the late 80's and I even had a friend that lived in that neighborhood. I remember it was sort of trashy and I even think I may remember my friend saying she and her dad were moving. They sure did not have much in the way of furnishings, but the house was not bad. It was weird. ... In any case I drove by again a year or so later and most of the houses seemed abandoned, there was some graffiti...this may have been around 1992 at this point? And I don't think I drove by since then...WOW...just WOW...

yeah alot of people left after the smog took over and the smell got to them. after the 3 kids died it was shut down in 97 i beleive. thats when the bulldozing took effect but for awhile it was a ghost neighborhood. this is all we could find now.

| | | Thanks again for showing me this place guys. It is crazy that I had been by here so many times, and never knew that this all was back there, then i realized why... The woods are vicious... I was sweating my ass of and bleeding everywhere, spend fifteen minutes with tweezers getting thorns out from those red vines. That car was really cool. I almost busted my ass sitting in the seat... But busted the seat instead... I put the softball I found on the shelf next to the Railroad spikes from The east houston train tracks, and the light bulb I got from Austin Power.
You should totally stage a photo op with that stadium bulb... I can give you some good ideas... [last edit 2/17/2011 3:03 AM by The Anti-Paradigm - edited 2 times]

| | | I have a lot to loose, like my job, and professional certification from the ARRT, but like he said nothing illegal done today, and if i do something questionable, I dont show myself in the pics. Nobody will want to put enough effort into trying to hunt someone down here.
