Tonight my girlfriend and i went to scope out what we understood was an old sugar mill. We found out about it online, located an address, and set off...only to drive by and check out the location, look out for security, ect. When we got there we found it was a bit bigger then we had thought. The complex has a big house, sugar mill, a barn and a few small houses. Although we hadn't planned on it, we had to get out of the car. Finding a good place to park and keeping a low profile was easy. We only went into the closest building to us..it was much too cold and we were way too under dressed but I took a few shots and will definitely be back for more. Upon researching this place more, we found out most of these buildings were built between the 1850s and 1945. Its also been closed since 2005 and may have security?

learn more about it..

“We must go beyond textbooks, go out into the bypaths and untrodden depths of the wilderness and travel and explore and tell the world the glories of our journey.”
