| | Two old bridges near dfw centre port station < on 1/9/2011 12:50 AM >
| | | Found these on google maps, and walked down to them. the are south of the train station, and you can walk along an elevated levee where I assume the train track used to be. [last edit 1/9/2011 12:51 AM by siryuck - edited 1 times]

| | | A friend and I parked at some random place at the end of rock island, and walked down the tracks. It was Sunday and we didn't see a train, and I've only encountered one railway security dude in all the walking I've done, he just said to walk back and not mess with anything.

| | | That area is the funniest place I've gone to offroad. Not me in the video btw, but I almost did. http://www.youtube...atch?v=E_ZNFYx1_KY [last edit 1/13/2011 8:38 AM by Gringo Loco - edited 1 times]

| | | Insanity. I was wondering if that had been done, I could tell people had been out there, but that's really cool.

| | | It's actually not that dangerous. You always have something under you to support you if you manage to slip off. It would just suck to have a wheel slip off and you would be high centered if you had no one else around to help you.

| | | True, the bridge definitely wouldn't collapse. So it's not all that dangerous, just seems it I guess. How do you get into this area? Is at an off roading place or just a good spot?

| | | It's an extensive off-roading area. Also a good spot to hang out. We had a picnic there one time at the bridge.
