in the past few months life has been as such: radiation therapy (which sucks ass,) computer got stolen (again, sucks ass,) finished rad therapy (thank god,) and scored a metric shitload (approx 1.62 SAE shitloads) of new L glass. I just got my 85 f/1.2L MkII yesterday. here are some of the test shots. Yeah, first thing I did was take it out for some UE. duh.

I really enjoyed myself with this set! ... such a sucker for close ups of mechanisms and mantis. Anyway it looked like a lot of fun. Sorry to hear about the RADS and Theft I hope the new glass helped soften the landing.

thanks man. it was a good day. My Mac has been replaced, I have a ton of new glass, and I got a Canon 1D MkIII for christmas, so the theft has been semi negated. a month of work lost sucks but that is the only unreplaceable stuff. This trip was made even better by having a noob with me. had a lot of fun.

First off, great shots! There aren't any from the tops of the silos or anything that looks like it was from the top, so did you manage to get on top of the place? The bridge in #3 is amazing, but do I see it's missing part of the roof? Do you know how sturdy that bridge is at all? I love all the metal, looks like it was a blast.

the 1D MkIII is kicking much ass. as for getting on the roofs of the silos...I dont feel like carrying climbing gear with me. The ladders are no bueno.

I'm also sorry you had to go through RAD. Love the shots, though! Keep up the good work.
