Exploring, photography and heritage = archive, what do you think?

Hi everybody!

I am looking for urban explorers in the region of Montreal who would like to share their views on the link between exploring, photography and heritage. I am a graduate student in art history and I’m researching the values and significations attached to industrial heritage by the population. I see in urban exploring a way to document a heritage that is in danger and out of reach for most people. If you are interested please know that I can conduct interviews in person, on the phone or even by e-mail (all of the above in english or french). Also if you feel like leaving just a few words on the subject as a reply I would be very happy to read you!

Thanks!

Is your area of interest limited to Montreal only?

Too bad you're in Montreal! I know a lot of people, like myself, in Ontario that would have loved to help.

Hello, I'm an explorer in Montreal. I love the pictures I get from exploring. I have only been in 5 places so far. It's great for unusual pictures. I love it if I have some history of a location but it is not always possible. I have much more to talk about if you are interested.

Hi PositivePressure!

I can only interview in person people from Montreal and near but I can of course send some specific questions via e-mail. If you would be interested let me know, I would really like to have your opinion on the subject!

Hi BreatheinStandstill!

I would love to have your views on the subject!

Like I said to PositivePressure I can always send you a few specific questions by e-mail. I asked for people in Montreal because I always prefer to conduct my interviews in person but If you would be interested to do it through e-mail let me know.

Thanks
