Blind with ambition, MI...

After slamming a couple brews with a few mates of mine, I decided to go check this place out as it ended up being within walking distance. As I couldn't find much information on it, it seemed somewhat desirable when compared to some of the more accessible areas. Now don't get me wrong, this place is in no way, shape, or form a hidden treasure trove, but it is mostly in tact and as I stated before, a lesser known location,. However, due to the time constraints I ended up settling on a recon trip. I'm going to do a full follow up within the next day or so.

This is just one of the buildings on the campus, as there are three different buildings total. The other one's ended up being much more elaborate and consisted of multiple stories, as the one I checked out consisted of only 2 floors.

...Now, before I post these pictures, as I'm currently intoxicated...shinfo. I would like to say that anyone located in MI, that is interested in this place should contact me asap, and we'll work something out.

Blah, blah, blah, I'm sure I rambled about nothing, but other then that...enjoy and cheers!

*edit* these photos were taken with a Kodak EasyShare Dx7630...I'm not big into the photography thing (as I stated in other threads), but I do use them to accumulate evidence in order to back my claims. Not too bad of a low light point and shoot camera if you ask me...more shinfo

After returning to the building, I unfortunately ran into a rather moderate size group of wannabe gang bangers looking for trouble...no pun intended. I probably shouldn't be traversing this place at night by myself as it's in a "not very nice" part of town. I'll post more shots when I'm actually able to get back there...shinfo

Was only able to snap about 3 exterior shots before the confrontation, but seeing as I didn't post any before...cheers I guess. The first one is kind of dark because I fucked up the manual pre-set and didn't notice 'till the second. Wish I had more, but what can you do.

I know, I'm itching to get into the place and explore it further.

I'd like to check this place out sometime. Hopefully it's on the west side of the state.

I didn't listen to axe to fall very much but everything else they have done is fucking good.

it's actually closer than one would think. Axe to fall is pretty damn good, it reminds me of a mixture between "you fail me" and "halo in a haystack". I pretty much love anything they've ever released with the exception of pre "halo". It's kind of a bummer that they don't play too much of their older material, but I can't argue. Band has yet to disappoint. You by chance listen to Integrity?

Integrity is bad as fuck. Haven't checked out the blackest curse yet but yeah everything they have done was good, except integrity 2000 whatever the fuck that was.
I've only seen converge twice, once in 2001 with American Nitemare and I think in 2006.
Since moving out of the city I don't go to shows anymore. Most new stuff is faggotshit anyway (bring me the horizon)

the blackest curse is actually pretty damn good for Dwid not putting out an integrity full length in almost 6 years. I wasn't too big into 2000 either, as frank wrote some of the best riffs in that band's history. I will however always say that systems overload is in my opinion their best work to date, followed closely by those who fear and humanity is. Integrity is definitely one of the greatest bands of all time and usually never disappoint.

Integrity is actually playing Baltimore at the end of January with Rot in Hell, Haymaker, Dropdead, and Pale creation. That my friend is going to be one hell of a show.

*edit* I suggest you check out Rot in Hell, especially since you digg Integrity. You won't be disappointed.

It looks like a nice place to photograph. If you ever want to re explore the place drop me a PM. I am getting time to get out again. Summer was the last time I was out and I feel like a drug addict with a need for a hit I tend to always head out with others.
