Where is Gatlinburg? Sounds like an interesting place to explore...
Galveston is full of awesome places to see... but since I had my kids with me, I kept it pretty simple. The next time I go kid-less, it's on like Donkey Kong.

My high school's band went to Gatlinburg every year for a festival/competition thingy. Just saying, it doesn't appear to be the best place ever for 'sploring. No offence intended to any from there, just my observations.

Isn't that where Twitty City or DollyWood or something like that is? I may have lived there when I was very little...

Dollywood is right nearby in Pigeon Forge. Gatlinburg is a national park/ski resort, plus a bit of an amusement park; mostly just a bore.
