thats a ruger, not a luger

Probably used to kill someone, then tossed down a drain!

If you see an incorrect GPS entry in the DB, FIX IT!

Probably, it is so badly rusted no s/n can be recovered.. so not too worried about it.

Edit: also it is either a ruger mk1 or mk2 22/45.. aftermarket barrel, that was threaded.

....AND THEN to end off our day we hit up the Kidds Springs/Slaughter-Builder tunnels and had a couple interesting finds including an old luger hand gun, a pocketknife and of course some cool graffiti...then we hopped out of a manhole right next to where we parked. Heres some of those pics:

BADASS!

I love these shots. Did you turn in the gun or leave it there?

So jealous! I miss you guys!

Neither lol...it's just more then likely gonna get more rusted and messed up or more lost to history down there anyway so we "preserved" it.....safer being preserved on someones shelf then being engulfed into the side of a mineral deposit or possibly buried for good....someone else probably would of got on here saw that and went and got it anyway. I just wish I was the one who found it so I could of kept it lol. It would of been useless turning it in too cuz there was no way to get the serial number off of it. That and anything that you find in a drain is usually junk no one cares about or was trying to get rid of anyway. Someone found a rusted old rifle in the Rat Races one time and it's no longer there cuz believe me I looked lol...I don't blame them for taking it though

We'll have some fun this next summer when you come back though...got some new places to check out

lol, that gun was there the first time I hit the drain, but I couldn't find it when I went earlier this year. Guess I looked in the wrong drain box.

I wouldn't worry about it having been used to provide ventilation to someone's person. I parked at Methodist Hospital one time, and came back to find a gun thrown under my car. Security came and checked it out, but they weren't concerned at all. They figured it was probably just tossed out by someone who was carrying but shouldn't have been, and didn't wanna get caught. It's not like it's hard to get a new one on the street.

Meanwhile, I'm sure glad you got one more round in the Dallas High School. When I rode the train last Saturday, crews were all over the building replacing the plywood over the windows. Wonder if you were "observed", and someone decided to do something about it? I think your SEP field needs work.

Dieu m'a exaucé.

We actually went on Sunday evening so this was after they had already started boarding it up if you saw that on Saturday so that couldn't of been because of us...I'm pretty sure we weren't spotted though, we didn't stick around in the place too long

yeah, the whole reason we went was because I saw that they where working on it Saturday and thought If they weren't working on it Sunday they might have left something open. and I was right!
