Does anyone know what this location is (about 10 miles south of downtown Austin, just off of 183 on FM 812 East)?

I caught sight of it while biking past a few weeks back. The sticker on the sign says "United States Marshal No Trespassing" though I'm skeptical it's real.

I've wondered about this place myself, having passed it a few times on the way to other locations.

Whatever it is, it looks like it was never used.

A google brought me to a listing for the property,

It doesn't seem to have a specific purpose.

That is interesting. Odd that it looks so unused, if used at all and the US Marshall putting their stamp on it, haha. It looks like someone slapped a sticker on that sign.

I would severely doubt it is US Government property. It looks like some one made a sticker and stuck it to a sign that probably said no parking. All government properties have signs like that but I have never seen one that wasn't fully metal. Those government property signs would be attached to a chain link fence with barbed wire or razor wire on top. I would look around to see if there are any more of those signs and take a close look at them they will be stamped metal with the edges of the shield raised. I'll post some pictures of the ones here at my facility as an example.

But that chain wouldn't stop any one from walking across it so it wouldn't be used by the US Government.

And yes looking closer at the picture it is a sticker over a no parking sign. My advice is to look for more official looking no trespassing government property signs.

Well...... crap........
