Okay so this video really wasn't intentional, but Superlocrian and I decided to throw together some pocket cam footage on one of our random days of exploring the 512. Please bare with me a bit.. I don't have much video experience.. and we had a very limited amount of footage.

Our future videos will be much more thought out.. and better filmed.. whatever that means.. lolz. Any who, I will take any kind of constructive criticism you have to offer. And if you want to keep tabs on our channel feel free to subscribe

This is one that I wasn't present for, but this is more along the lines of what we will be doing in the future with these videos.

Not bad at all gentlemen, but i definitely recommend one of these

I have a Canon 7d and for video, it is priceless. I spent about 15 bucks and jazzed it up with padding and a strap so I can sling it on my back.

We (Me and Down with the CLown) have some cool very short videos too, just youtube Houston Urban Exploration. (old videos before stabilizer)

Thanks. That was some early work done on my brother's "flip" recorder. Now that I have a 7D I will try to make them much better.

an even cheaper option for the flip is to get a 1/4 inch bolt and a stack of heavy washers on the bolt that will go into the bottom tripod hole. This will add some weight to it, and thereby reduce the shake slightly (hold the flip, not the bolt)

Here are a couple more vids of ours, abandoned apartments and such:

the best, cheapest stabilizer for these types of small hand-held cameras is the old washer/string/bolt technique:

http://www.brighth...rticles/31585.aspx

more portable and faster to set up than a tripod. great for taking the bounce and jiggle out of panning shots.

remember this tip: always move slow and steady when shooting. watching fast-motion, run-around-hallways type videos makes a lot of people nauseous.

Not bad for stills, but for moving video and walking, might be a little pointless/cumbersome.
