Be careful, remember we explore just for the fun of it - its not worth life risks.

On another note, Id probably race you up the lader .

You'd probably have won. I was a very slow climber. Going back down was easy and fast though.

Bullshit, some of us use exploring as "edgework" I'd say this applies to most of the serial climbers I associate with.

This is the best method.

Agreed.

Except when your tripod wont fit properly and ends up punching you in the jaw half way up.

Thats a bitch.

Damn tripods. They're always a pain in the ass (or face) for some reason or another.

Anyone ever climb a crane like this? I found a good one with poor security. I can't tell if it's as rewarding as the horizontal tower cranes.

It's more rewarding in the sense that it takes a bit more effort to avoid falling to your death while climbing the boom. Plus, it's more exercise!

Well the bad news is there might not be as much of a view compared to the last one, because this one is surrounded by buildings that are equal or taller. The good news, many of those buildings are dorms for a women's university.

/recommends dark blue outfit.

Bring a vastly different colored shirt (bright fucking yellow for example) and if anyone sees you and you have to end up running for it a quick duck into an alleyway and change of clothing ought to throw them off your tracks.

I wear my raincoat as a windbreaker for when im up top. It is a different colour inside so ill just flip it inside out for the climb and wear it the right way for the bike ride home.

If it's cold and the cab is unlocked, you can hang out in there to warm up for a bit. Just don't move the crane if it's on. =)

Bring snacks. sometimes there are microwaves in the cabins. sometimes playboys too!
