Uday, it wouldn't surprise me. That drain has a couple of perfect spots for people to drop off "unwanted" items. We found three pretty nice javelins in there. Part of the drain was recently rebuilt, so the round tunnel goes to a new place now and the old one (out of sight in the pic) is bricked up.
