| | | The first one is one of the closest HDRs i've seen to mimic how things actually look in real life, and it isn't too overdone. In the second one, it hurts my eyes to look at the grass. Perhaps it was windy, or the camera got bumped, causing the grass to be in different places during the blended exposures?

+1 I think the first one is great, not too much fuzz/halo action and it's composed nicely. Some manual editing can eliminate that. Second one, not so much - too fuzzy. HDRs are tough when moving trees/vegetation are involved. [last edit 10/4/2010 2:07 PM by consecrated - edited 1 times]

| | | Yea I noticed the fuzz at the bottom after posting, It was rather windy that day and it didn't help the place was on the side of a mountain. Thanks for the critiques

| | | The first one is nice. There's not enough sky visible for its unnaturally dark gray color to be distracting, and it helps you get a decent image out of a scene where it would otherwise be just about impossible. The second one is a classic example of wasting time editing a photo that sucked to begin with.

| | | The first shot is one of the best HDR's I think I've ever seen. It really looks natural and normal, not like some circus clown threw up all over it. The second one's pretty decent too, but what gets me about it is the leaves in the tree on the left-hand side of the shot. They're really bright and distract from the cabin.

| | | +1 for not overdoing it. How did you do these, manually in photoshop or using that HDR program that I can't remember the name of?
