You haven't heard? She's being rebuilt .... I didn't get the job but nice to see there not just plowing it under ...

On other notes btw, I met with the guys from Hong Kong again on our grand lady downtown, they have a new guy in charge who seems determined to have something moving within a few months, talked to them about them redoing her themselves if no offers were good enough and met with about 6 different groups who want to make offers. The guy I was partnered with before is taking another hard run at it and i am hearing he has one of the better proposals so something may happen. It's only taken 6 years! lol

I actually am a lumberjack of sorts. Arborist, to be exact. So that's fitting.

I'm also in the "license suspended" catagory. You really goofed by not putting that one in there. I work as often as possible but instead of taking "regular" vacations or going to bars or hanging out with friends doing social events and crap I'm usually planning my next exploring trip or out crawling through mines.

I suppose it's just how you decide to spend your time.

It does seem like there's a lot of jobless/carless/school-less people on here exploring though.

Oooooooh, you're one of "those". Good point, that should be it's own answer also.

I either ride my bike there, or try to work exploring into the schedule whenever i'm going somewhere with my girlfriend or a friend with a car and it usually works out well

Employed and have a car....thank goodness. If not, it would be really difficult for me. So I guess people ride with me since I'm the one with the car. And they are the ones that are jobless, carless and in school. HA! I don't mind though. I always prefer to have others with me. And I definitely think having a car makes it easier, at least imo.

Cars are evil.

Jesus would drive a car if he were here today. He'd be like: "F#@$% the camel, I'm driving the Ferrari! And Going Exploring"

Or at least my Jesus would do that.

I have a Kawasaki KLR 650 that I use for UE. I've found that having a dual-sport bike has the advantage of being easily hidden (sometimes inside the building i'm exploring). Solves the parking problem

I've only explored places close to home that I can walk to or use public transportation.

I'm a blatant waste of time and resources.

I have my own vehicles, and my own job for now also. Although we already know that it is headed to Monterrey, starting next month.

I haven't had a problem with folks not having their own ride, although typically when someone goes with me we will meet and go in my truck. Like someone else said, you don't want a lot of vehicles parked around. But my guess as to why so many people involved in UE don't have vehicles is probably because they're younger than us old bastards.

All I need is a ride!
.....and a camera...
...and if you could just point me in the right direction and give me a hint as to how to get in to the place...?
.....and maybe a flashlight?
Some food money...
A soda would be cool.
You got any bottled water?

I'm a blatant waste of time and resources.
