I go to school for Historic Preservation, whenever I want to see the inside of a building I just pick it to do a school project on and the owners are normally very helpful. After school I hope to find a job that allows me to keep doing this, but architecture is the way to go if you love this stuff..

Right now she is mainly working for the goverment writing reports on properties they own, mainly old houses and factories. So it definitely an UE type job, as she needs to explore every room, and discover all prior uses of the buildings. The competition is tough, however, as you need a lot of background into regional history, architecture and construction.

I did a temp job doing pool inspections, and saw places I never would have seen otherwise. Of course, you will never be able to look at a restraunt or swimming pool the same way again. Also, you could work as a construction contractor. Back when I did that, I got to work breifly in an insane asylum, warehouses, and best of all, school tunnels. The best solution is to become a construction or civil engineer. Specialize in large scale infrastructure. I have seen places that would amaze even the best explorers.

One of the best UE sites I ever did was a huge abandoned sugar refinery where the company I worked for had a transmitter on the roof. The property was not abandoned but most of the buildings were.
I have also walked on the roof of the Calgary tower, plus the tallest buildings in Edm, Calgary and Winnipeg and dozens of other smaller office towers. I have also run underground cable via tunnels and all sorts of mech spaces.
I have done about as much UE officially as part of my job as I have as an explorer.

That sounds like a good idea, but think of what might happen if u walk into a crack house and find someone waiting for you drugged up with a crowbar. The next tip someone gives might be to your dissaperence.
