| | Honeymooning in NOLA < on 8/21/2010 3:25 PM >
| | | My fiancé and I are getting married on Sept. 25th and we are heading down to NOLA for about a week for our honeymoon. This is her first time there, so we are of course gonna do some touristy stuff, but she loves to go UEing with me and we are wanting to check some places out. Its been three years since I was last there so Im not sure what all is still there. So if there is anyone who wants to meet up with us and take us to some places that would be awesome. Thank you. I am not asking for locations! Just people to go UEing with.

| | | 6 flags seems to be like a nice place... just sayin...
When I say I'm 'clean and sober', it means I've showered and I'm headed to the liquor store. |

You got it. We will be hitting the road on sept 26th. we are still deciding if we wanna hit things on the way down or the way home. We are leaning towards doing it on the way home. If you have a school or hospital or asylum that would be awesome. We were planning on hitting up Old Bryce at point on this trip. You're not a crazy ax murderer are you? Cough Jemison Building cough. Not Old Bryce. LOL. Um I'm a student at UA, and I park next to Bryce everyday. There's one building that is definitely abandoned and in real bad shape. The back end of the main Bryce building is in bad shape. Couldn't tell that from the front though. I can check it out for you. I think I may have found a massive drain too, even bigger than the Tulsa ones. But you always have the SD Allen/Jemison building. I flew from BHM to JAX this weekend. When I came back we flew over Ensley and Republic Steel. ZOMG FTFW!

| | | Yeah, I've been told by my roommate there is an extensive drain/tunnel system under the campus. So far I haven't been able to find any entrances. About to resort to popping a manhole cover at 2am and seeing where it goes.

| | | So I just spent about two hours at Bryce talking to the police officer out there. Extremely nice guy and full of information. I learned a lot that I had no clue about. I also learned there is something extremely epic there. My goal while I'm at UA is to find it. And the building is massive. Wow, just wow I'm really blown away. Oh and the Jemison building was being watched tonight. The other entrance is now fenced off and has motion activated spotlights. I assumed they were and the officer pretty much verified my hypothesis. But I think I can get a waiver to be out there. There's not a whole lot to see out there though, just a lot of vandalism.

| | | Haha. I think we are teh only people to bring a friend on their honeymoon. But he is hella cool. Plus it would be unfair to not bring him to NOLA, which has a ton of places including Six Flags.
