I shoot stuff
| | | Marin Headlands, SF < on 8/16/2010 12:56 AM >
| | | Max called early this morning, asked me out to shoot some of the abandoned military buildings at Marin Headlands. So he picked me up with his truck and dog (Lilly) and the three of us drove north to the spot Max was talking on the phone earlier. The Army Air Defense Command ordered Site 88L closed in the spring of 1974 but the abandoned command center was completely pristine. Not really a surprise since the entrance is so extremely hidden behind branches and a good hike away from the next road. Nobody will walk along without knowing. I still wonder how Max managed to find that spot!More shots of our little tour today are online at http://gallery.me....&view=mosaic&sel=0 Being new to UER that was my first trip with one of you guys and I'm glad that I've stumbled upon the forums a few weeks ago (while ordering the book at infiltration.org). Thanks Max for showing me around and being such a great "tour guide" - looking forward to our next expedition! Dan
