Nope. I stayed on the main road the entire time. The only thing I came across was the empty casings and lots and lots of deer.
You can hunt on it during the season but I found out the rest of the time they keep that area closed. I finally decided they can't be doing bombing runs 24/7 out there. Did get buzzed by an F16 though which was pretty cool.
