| | New Site...looks huge < on 7/26/2010 8:25 PM >
| | | Getting ready to head a little bit out of town for a new site I stumbled across on goggle maps...a little bit more research confirms that yes, it is abandoned, and yes, it's as big as it looks. From what I can see there's at least five buildings, off the main road in the middle of no where. I wanted to post because it's a step up for me...never explored such a large location before. My girlfriend and I should be heading out there really soon, and I will post some pictures as soon as I can get them uploaded. Any advice on a good way to tackle this? Never explored anything bigger than a silo thingy, and there wasn't much to that as far as overall size goes. Thanks guys... Shae

| | | Just read the forum and use your instincts, you'll be fine. Edit: Also make a post in your local board inviting other area explorers to come with you. [last edit 7/26/2010 8:39 PM by injektilo - edited 1 times]
If I was really created in God’s image then when God was a boy he wanted to grow up to be a man, a good man, and when God was a man, a good man, he started telling the truth in order to get honest responses. |

| | | Thanks for all the input guys, lol. Yeah I guess I am a size queen considering my experience has been limited to just houses. Good news, my girlfriend just surprised me with a brand new camera that far surpasses what I would have gotten for myself. She is completely supportive of the whole UE thing. Sooo...maybe I'll have better luck at this site than in the past.

| | | Sounds cool...is it an industrial location? Good luck! Look forward to seeing the pictures. By the way, I have a good explorer friend that's getting ready to move to your area. She's Whatica on UER but she's not very active.

| | | yep it is...been abandoned since the early 80's. There is a company trying to buy it and build there, but the environmentalists are giving them hell, lol. [last edit 7/28/2010 2:30 AM by Shadow_Burning - edited 1 times]
