House in Hutto, TX

Cazybeast2 and I decided to check out a large farmhouse in Hutto this weekend. large property with the foundations of either huge stables or chicken houses. something related to farm animals at least. sadly, we didn't actually get inside because we both felt very iffy about the P.O.E. we had found. very high visibility, lots of broken glass and a speedy exit would have been nearly impossible. that being said we still got some cool pictures of the house and surrounding "ruins"

I did a little research on this place and the stuff in the back was actually a huge nursery, the owner of the house and nursery died in a car accident shortly after building it and the family couldn't handle the debt, so they let the bank have it, and apparently left all their stuff there.

It sucks that such a nice house is being left to rot. Here's a couple of my cell phone/crappy camera pics.

Decent pictures for a cell phone. Must be a 2meg cam?

Funny the places that satellite dishes turn up. Almost seems like some crazed guy runs around the country chucking dishes on the side of abandoned houses!!

yeah, looks like the owner's family just left EVERYTHING in there. there was still rice in a jar in the kitchen and coffee cups still in the cupboards. we could hear a smoke detector beeping from a low battery upstairs too.

he's got an HTC EVO, not sure what the resolution is, but it took better pictures than his camera!

Yeah, my cell phone has an 8mp camera (still a tiny lens though), I think the old sony cybershot DSC-H9B I have is 8.1mp..

Not a huge camera guy yet, I plan on making a decent investment soon though.
