Glad to see my pirates are still alive and well... Since more people seem to be making their way out to this silo, I wanted to give thanks to the original gangsters that made exploring this place possible.

You know who you are; thank you.

EDIT: And put that fucking grate back, you bastards. I don't care if you have to go down into that water, put it back.

I drove out there once, right onto the landfill. I didn't think it needed any more destruction. There is an interesting comment by a former airman at the bottom of the article stating that this will indeed be an expensive and worthless job for the taxpayers of elbert country - I wonder if there is any corrupt deals going on behind the scenes that are driving this; when I went out there last, the site was partially covered with random trash and truck parts, and didn't appear to be at conflict with any new construction or expansion.

seems like the usual gvt waste, just like the titan 1s were in the first place. Might as well sink more money into a hole in the ground...

I need to explore one asap. The Titan 1 complex in my town was shut down due to a kid dying in it unfortunately.

I hit up Titan this past Sunday, early morning. Just parked around the hill so you couldn't see my jeep

Was a great explore, and looking to go back as we were only able to check out about a quarter of it before my damn camera crapped out on me. Planning another trip out there soon, maybe a night visit, not sure.

yeah, i've been twice about a year ago. This is prob the best time of year to go since its mostly dry compared to earlier in the year. It easily took about 2 hours to hit all 3 silo's.

Hi everyone! im new to this website.. i can finally post replies now, and ive been dying to get at this thread. I live in Westminster, CO and i wanna explore a titan complex at some point very soon. i have read, and read, and read, all sorts of stuff on just about every forum that would be relevant to me on here, and i am well aware of the UE etiquette, including not asking for information about locations. but after about 3 hours of Titan silo research, i am still left hanging here. Lots of these bases are being taken down lately, which is a damn shame, and i was hoping for a very basic briefing in a PM from someone who knows whats what. which locations near me are not destroyed, are accessible, and are not under guard (or are minimally guarded), and what general location(s) can it be found? also, if one silo is cooler than another for whichever reason, i would be interested in information pertaining to the coolness to help me decide which silo to visit. your assistance is VERY much appreciated, as i REALLY want to venture inside one of these.

please ignore my lack of capitalization and apostrophes. im too lazy for those, and my point gets across just fine 99.9% of the time. thanks again

TL;DR
I'm going to go on a long boring rant, and not even bother to make it easier to read by using proper punctuation or grammar. In addition I'm going to go against rules and beg for a hand on out information most people can easily Google.

was that necessary? last i checked ive never been a dick to you in my life. after spending my 3 days that i wasnt allowed to post things reading just about everything, i figured this site was devoid of youtube trolls. if you cant understand what im saying because there is no capitalization, i really dont know what to tell you (you might not speak english). and i wasnt so much 'begging for a handout' as just asking for leads. i am extremely interested in UE, especially the titans, and i just want to make sure i can find the portal when i get there. if Magellan couldnt find the ocean, would he have ever been able to explore? just like if i cant find the portal to the complex, how will i ever explore it? my spelling, grammar, and punctuation (aside from apostrophes) are all ship-shape, and completely understandable to everyone else ive ever talked to over the web, but if it is such an issue, i would be happy to capitalize and apostrophe my writings on this site. when i asked to excuse my capitalization and punctuation, i was just trying to be polite and acknowledge that yes, my writing isnt perfect but its still completely understandable english. you really care about it that much?
can we get on topic now please? i am interested to learn about this place.

Ididn'tsayeverythingyousaidwasincomprehensible,Isaiditwasdifficulttoread.Thereisadifference.

Pleas e ignore my lack of spacebar, I was too lazy to locate the largest button on my keyboard, and apply light pressure to it. Most people can understand what I am saying anyways. Doing things like pressing buttons present difficult challenges to me, yet I wish to go explore dangerous missile silos that could and have killed people who weren't careful in the past. Also, please forgive me for not bothering to do research on it on my own time, I know that people who have actually spent a few minutes researching on Google will jump at the opportunity to give me everything I want.

If it meant you went to a silo, and fell to your death, I would personally go against already stated rules and link you to Google Map instructions. But I have moral and ethical dilemmas with that, unfortunately.

Good call, I can't speak English. Your argument is very supportive, and you have compiled a very good case against me. I have no choice but to admit defeat and confess I cannot speak English.

Not all on here are asshats. And he didnt ask for a hand out. (sorta)

T-rex, while we appreciate that you read up on the rules and etiquette first, for your first post, ya need to give us something. The folks up in Colorado are pretty chill from everything I've seen and the ones I have talked to. Give up something before you ask though. If you have explored before, post some pics, tell some stories, etc. Build up your credibility before asking for info. They have meet-ups in CO. Hit one up. See if someone will do an explore or two with you. You would be surprised how easy most people are to get along with.

Good luck. And expect some hazing on here. That may have been what miirkat was trying to do. It was a piss poor attempt if so, but hopefully that is all it was.

Also, yeah. Google maps, Gov websites, etc. It is surprisingly easy when you start looking.
