Just one shot

I took a whole bunch of pics last night at our local 4th carnival, and clearly, most of em were shite. Without the time to set up tripod and really take time for the shots, it just wasn't worth the effort. This one I thought came out really nice, so I figured I'd post it up in here and see if anyone agreed. Lemme know. I didn't post process anything on this shot. Settings on my Rebel XS were:

Shutter speed 1.3
AV 4.5
ISO 400
Focal Length 18.0 mm
White balance (Tungsten)

I did use a tripod and a remote release.

I think I would like it more if the cars weren't dead center. All that asphalt down at the bottom of the shot doesn't really do anything for it, same with the space to the left of the cars; it would be more interesting to see more of the sky since the effect you got was so weird. Pretty cool shot, though.

Thanks for the feedback, Arntz! It's a bit tricky there to find many angles to shoot them, cause they're so snug to that wall on the left, and there were newer cars and a busy road right to their right...I think they live there, so I'm gonna check em out again and see what else I can do. The sky? It was past sunset, and that's how my camera took it? I have a clear UV filter on the lens, but that's it. I really like what the camera can do with the sky at nightfall , though. I've taken some similar looking, deep blue shots elsewhere with the same settings...I'll mess around over there and see what else I can do to improve it - check back when you can!
