|  | | | Several times now, I've had incidences in parkour/infils where my arms get covered in fibreglass. It's too damn hot to be wearing long sleeves when doing anything of the nature, but fibreglass is bitch to get off your arms. What do you guys do?
(I've previously used packaging tape paired with long showers and had moderate success)
tl;dr fibreglass sees you and says "blast it with piss". wat do.

| | | | I use to work around the crap, try really, really, cold showers and brushing across your skin with a flat edge ( like a ruler or knife blade ). Hope it helps.

Typical scenario:
It's 32C and I'm in for a hard day of running and climbing if all goes well... Wearing long sleeves is just totally out of the question.

| | | | Third vote for the ice showers. The whole idea is to get your skin to let go of the fibers. Dont start off with warm water, because it will open up your pores and the fiberglass will sink in.

| | | | I've gotten used to it in the last few years, cold showers help. It has to just fall out of your skin on its own though. Scraping it will only get some of the loose pieces off your skin. The best thing to do is not get it on your skin in the first place.

| | | | Agreed on the cold showers here. On the days I had to insulate ductwork for my Dad, I would have it on my arms. Washing with cold water really helped.
