|  | | | I live in South Philly. There are so many cool things I want to see down here, but I have no idea what I'm doing. I am looking for super-awesome experienced Philly people to possibly show me the ropes. This place seems to be crawling with expertise, so I figured it would be a good place to ask. I live right across the street from what I imagine is the coolest site in South Philly, and I can't keep staring at it every day without going in... it is TORTURE. I'm a pretty smart person, and I learn fast. I've been following urban exploration for years, but I've just recently worked up the nerve to do it on my own. Also all my friends think I'm stupid as hell for trying, so they're no help.
Any takers?
If any of you can help me out with this one you shall receive bountiful rewards of silver and gold COFFEE.

you are so freaking close.. if you see a feasible way in, go in. the easiest places to explore are usually the ones you are closest to. an opportunity can easily present itself, sometimes many times a day.

| | | | Sometimes, the best way to go is just to grab your camera/gear (tho only whats necessary) and jump right in! Take an unassuming walk around it one evening and look for points of entry. Once you see a POE, go back at the least-trafficy time of day, or just hop right in! I like to do a walk thru explore first when im looking at new places sometimes, and come back with more detailed explorations later. It may be scary, but it's the best way to go sometimes!
Once you get into a place and you experience the rush of awesomeness for the first time, there's no going back!
