If anyone were so motivated to try their luck at getting back in, the park is totally deserted after dark and you could dig in relative safety as long as you weren't too loud about it. But it might be a good idea to wait til things dry up a bit more as it's probably a muddy, sloppy mess right now.

I spoke with one my contacts at Portland Water Bureau. He confirms concrete was poured down the exit hatch in 2009.

And it was never from giving up or not thinking outside the box.

Yes, I do have a contact at the Water Bureau. No its not my "dad" as I am not 16.
I'm not faulting anyone for thinking outside the box here, but the obvious ways in are not the best way in. Keep thinking.
As for the concrete; well, I can tell you they put enough in to solve the problem with transients living inside.

A good friend of mine is seriously considering of leaving this area because people are such all knowing pussified losers in the area. Not all, but just most of the ones we know. Seriously, there's like 4 people here that can hold a candle to the Midwest factions. The world would be a better place with more hardcore Beer Commando like people. You can always tell a Beer Command guy. No pussy respirator, between any 3 of them, they have 800 ft of rope and ascending gear. They have inflatable boats, pickaxes, chest wadders, each. Between any 2 you will find a half barrel of Linnies and a half of High Life in reserve. And every single Commando has the guts and the will to finish the mission, no matter how FUBARed it is. For these poor bastards, concrete can only slow them down. I've seen collapsed mines only cost a platoon of Beer Commandos 2 brews apiece.....
