| | | Middle of nowhere, and yet still, someone managed to burn it down, recently too... Damn shame, would have been a better find. The only history I can find. http://www.kiowa.k...imestone%20Gap.htm

I'm ashamed to admit I kept the ink well... I felt it needed to be preserved. I'm sorry... But honestly, it would have been lost forever had I not.

| | | That's nothing to be ashamed of. I know it's in bad form to take things from a site, but some times you just have to use your better judgement and take something that deserves better.

| | | Also, I would like to add that the reason this place was burned down was very obvious, and that would be no less than good old fashioned American laziness. Obviously the property owner was attempting to clear the overgrowth around the school, ie. the trees. Chopping them down is easy enough with the right equipment, but no, this farmer thought he was working smarter, not harder, so he burnt the trees to the ground, and they fell on the building, and now it's all ashes. That's my take on it, and that's damn sure what it looked like.

The glass is twice as big as it needs to be.

| | | Fully agreed with Implausible here. Sure, if it's in a building that is gonna get re-used or somesuch, yeah, it's off limits of course, but this place is obviously just gonna sit there and decay until it is completely overgrown and there's no trace left. Good call liberating the ink well.
