Agreed. Okay, it's only two per page now, but i'm not sure how to make the spaces between them wider.

It's been a while since I've used wordpress. But iirc you should be able to edit the post template and throw in several <br /> tags to make some space. Or edit the CSS and put on the post container (probably a <div class="post">) so it'd look like
div.post {
padding-bottom: 10px;
}
|
or some shit like that.
edit: yeah just checked your source and that ought to do it if you toss that bit of css in the css file / template.
