Very nice, looks to be an old college research lab?

You can see a million miles tonite, but you can't get very far.

Great shots! I love the compositions! #1 is my fav. Your exposures and editing could use some work. #1 would look better with a lot more contrast and #3 could use a brighter exposure. Also, in the future when posting them use the img tag without the gallery tag so that you don't have to mouse over the images to see them.

Posted too small to really critique, but all three seem underexposed, especially 1 and 3. Nice shots, though.

1.I probably would have shot these a bit closer for more detail, and possibly dof
2.i think i would have cut less off of the closest subject
3.kind of boring, I'd rather shoot at an angle to get more dof

I think the first two are good, but the third one needs more exposure or a levels adjustment in pshop.

I really like #2, the depth of field is great. I really like that they are slightly under exposed, it adds to the atmosphere in my opinion. Great shots!

Just curious, why did you title this thread "the most tragic waste"? Is that the title of your photo pieces?

1st one is awesome composition-wise. Play with levels though

2nd is good, but you cut off the most interesting part

3rd is okay, but you again cut the subject in half

BTW-I love this place, the glassware strewn about is amazing...

No, the whole building and everything that was left to rot is just sad.

I post my photos with a description of the buildings, generally.
